TO CHOOSE PROGARM

Quality and Durability

ProGARM quality means certified to UK and EU standards, and tested by third parties, not just us. The Box Test measures incident energy class. The Open Arc Test measures cal/cm² ELIM ratings. Together, they verify the right level of protection for the job, so the spec is never a guess.

Protective clothing against the thermal hazards of an electric Arc

As Arc Flash specialists, ProGARM focuses on ensuring our garments use the best components to provide an optimal balance of protection, comfort, quality and durability. We rigorously test and trial fabrics and constructions to ensure our products lead the market. Our commitment to continuous improvement drives us to seek new knowledge and skills to meet future needs.

Longer lasting Arc Flash protection

Imagine if your protective workwear lasted up to 70% longer. With ProGARM, it does and we're confident enough to back every seam with a Lifetime Guarantee.

Cheaper garments often rely on treated fibres, which lose their protective qualities over time. Our VXS+ fabric is 100% inherent, so protection doesn't wash out, it's built into the fibre for the life of the garment. It even offers instant extinguishing properties that outperform more expensive aramid fabrics.

It holds its shape too. After 50 industrial washes, VXS+ garments shrink by less than 3% and keep their colour fastness, while treated fabrics fade and degrade with every wash. That's ProGARM quality in the fabric itself - comfortable, durable, and built to outlast the job.

Superior Components

We sweat the small stuff, because in your job, small stuff matters. Every ThermSAFE™ component - zippers, poppers, buttons - is flame resistant and built to last, tested to hold its protective properties for the life of the garment, not just the first few wears.

Our ThermSAFE™ Stretch Tape adds flexibility and comfort without compromising visibility, fully compliant with EN ISO 20471. Protection and practicality, working together hand in hand.

Arc Flash protection you can see… for longer

High-vis Arc Flash and Flame Resistant clothing has one job on top of the obvious one: staying visible, wash after wash.

We test for it properly. Some of our woven fabrics are wash-tested at 75°C and tunnel-dried at 150°C for five minutes. EN ISO 11612 only requires testing after five laundry cycles. We test to 50 - ten times the standard - to ensure your team's visibility doesn't start fading before the garment does.

Our best-selling VXS+ fabric is certified for 50 washes under ISO 15797, the international standard for industrial laundering - stronger detergents, harsher conditions than a domestic wash. It's this level of ProGARM quality control that means, by the time most workwear's given up, yours is still going.

Guaranteed for Life

With ProGARM garments, protection starts right from the seams. We use the highest quality flame resistant thread throughout every structural seam, and we've gone through each garment to find the high stress areas, so the stitching there can actually handle daily wear and tear.

We're confident enough in that durability to back it with a Lifetime Seam Guarantee on the main structural seams of every garment. Simply put, our products are built to endure daily use, and we stand behind that.

The guarantee doesn't cover damage from sharp edges or tools, or general wear once a garment's reached the end of its working life. But if you ever do have an issue with a seam, our UK sales office is ready to help.

Guaranteed for Life

Built to Last

You want the best Arc Flash protection for your team, at a price that makes sense. With a lifespan up to 70% longer than other leading brands, ProGARM garments cost less to run over time, not just less to buy. Fewer replacements, less disruption, and gear that's still doing its job long after cheaper kit has given up.

Built to Last

HOW WE BUILD KIT THAT LASTS

Materials, manufacturing and the discipline to test until it breaks.

Outstanding Garments by Design

ProGARM garments give you everything you’d expect from proper workwear, then go further. Every part of how we design and build them comes back to one question: what does the person wearing this actually need? That’s how we get genuine Arc Flash and Flame Resistant protection, without giving up fit, function, or comfort.

We don’t just meet the strict UK and EU regulations that govern this kind of clothing, we build to go beyond them. When you buy from ProGARM, you’re getting protection designed to outperform the legal minimum, not just scrape past it, whatever your industry throws at it.

ProGARM Quality

At ProGARM, quality isn’t a claim, it’s how we’re built to work. Our production model is set up for speed, control, and traceability, manufactured mainly in our own factory in mainland Europe, with strict internal checks on production, fabric, and components at every stage. That means when something needs catching, we catch it fast.

We hold ISO 9001 for quality management and Module D accreditation across our supply chain, independent proof that this isn’t just something we say about ourselves.

Commitment to Safety
To ensure safety in production, we partner with OEKO-TEX-approved suppliers. OEKO-TEX is an independent textile testing system that regulates the colorants and chemicals used in textiles, ensuring they meet stringent safety criteria. This results in enhanced safety protection and sustainable production practices.

A QUESTION WE GET A LOT

Does Arc Flash protection wash out?

No. Our fabrics are inherently FR, so protection stays at full strength for the working life of the garment. There's no surface treatment to wear off, no coating to crack. As long as the garment's still in good shape, it still does the job it was certified for.
