The proof behind the protection
The standards your business needs will depend on the work your team does. If there’s an Arc Flash risk, it’s important to choose clothing that meets EN 61482. This is the international standard for Arc Flash and flash fire protection.
Every ProGARM Arc Flash garment is tested to both the Open Arc and Box Test methods. That means the protection is measured, verified, and built into every range.
Garments certified to EN ISO 11612 help protect against heat and flame. This includes hazards such as radiant heat, convective heat, and small splashes of molten metal. They’re designed for these risks, but they’re not intended for long periods of exposure to very high temperatures.

The Box Test
Replicates real-life arc fault conditions in a confined space. Classifies garments as APC 1 or APC 2.
The Open Arc Test
Measures performance under an open electrical arc. Provides quantitative cal/cm² ratings.
