Our In-House Testing Lab
We test constantly, before a garment ever reaches a certification body, and we keep testing long after it's on the market.
What Happens in the Lab
Every new fabric or component combination goes through testing here first, long before it's anywhere near ready for formal certification. That includes durability and wash-cycle testing beyond what any standard requires, some of our fabrics are wash-tested at 75°C and tunnel-dried at 150°C, checked for shrinkage and colour fastness after 50 industrial washes, ten times what EN ISO 11612 asks for.
It doesn't stop once a garment ships, either. We run ongoing checks on production batches, not just at launch, so quality control is a constant, not a one-time event.
Why In-House Means Faster, Not Looser
Testing in-house means we catch problems before they reach an independent test house, not after. That’s the difference between fixing a fabric blend in a week and losing months to a failed certification attempt. We’re often already testing the next version of a garment before the current one is even due for retest.
What This Doesn't Replace
Our in-house lab shapes and improves every garment we make but all official certification is done externally. Every EN and IEC standard our garments carry is verified by an accredited, independent third-party test house, not by us. In-house testing is how we make sure what we send them passes. Independent testing is how you know it actually does.
