ProGARM supports Arc Flash Awareness Day 2026 to raise awareness of Arc Flash risks

Arc Flash Awareness Day is back this June, bringing together people from across the industry to share knowledge, raise awareness, and keep the conversation around Arc Flash safety moving forward.

At ProGARM, we’re proud to be part of it for another year. Arc flash incidents don’t just impact systems, they impact people. And while awareness has come a long way, there’s still more to do to make sure those working in and around electrical environments have the understanding and protection they need.

This year, things look a little different. Instead of a single-day event, Arc Flash Awareness Day will be delivered as a series of pre-recorded sessions, available on demand for a full week. It means you can watch what’s relevant to you, when it suits you and actually take the time to absorb and apply what you’ve learned.

As part of this year’s event, our Technical Product Manager, Julie Perry, will be sharing her expertise in a session titled Peel Back the Risk – How to Layer for Arc Flash Protection. She’ll break down how PPE layering works, why it matters, and how to apply it in real environments.

We will also be joined by James, our National Account Manager and Oliver, Business Development Manager, who will be sitting down to chat about the biggest challenges that we see and customers face in the industry around PPE and how we’re helping to tackle these.

Alongside the sessions, the event will also be raising money for the Electrical Industries Charity, supporting people across the industry when they need it most.

If you work with or around electrical systems, it’s well worth getting involved. Whether you’re looking to build your understanding or take something practical back to your team, there’s a lot to take away from the week.
